RSS / News not showing

I'm going to look like a muppet if this has been told about, I did a search but it didn't come up with anything recent.

Can you look in to our RSS Feed. It seems to of stopped for some reason.

News feed still not updating from 2 days back.

Merged threads.

It was an incompatibility issue with XML and some foreign characters causing this. I have taken the opportunity to totally rewrite how the news system works, in such a way that all foreign characters are supported.

I have also wiped all news, and the feeds will begin populating again from now.

It took a few hours, but it's all back-end stuff. Not having to design it again makes it easier. There's nothing new and exciting on the front-end, except it actually works, which I guess you could consider new and exciting...

I am sorry, BUT:

Could you be so kind, if you do something, and tell us BEFORE you do it?

I can't fight the feeling, but I am really fed up by "reengineering" what has been done by searching through the forum to find out if it's a bug or a "feature".

Might that senseless thing about the "your designers all have stopped working just because you fired one of them not doing any work at that moment in change for a mechanic"-thingy be a good example and I can't tell how much that *censored* "feature" gets on my nerves every other day.

Let there be maintenance downtimes or at least an announcement.

Some leagues still don't have the RSS button, can you please fix that?

This is actually by design.  RSS feeds are only available in leagues hosted by subscribers.  See the League Page Guide.
