Greetings Guys I have an amazing idea to add more spice towards the races by adding two other Free Practices. Now these two practices are not about Car Setup but are instead about, giving a temporary bonus to 2 areas of attributes.
In the training practice, you have each driver perform a series of laps, in an instant just like the current Practice Session.
You can choose any 2 Attributes to train, the higher your current skill, the lower the boost.
Practice 1 will be about setting up the car as it is now, each Practice 2 and 3 will reduce your drivers health by 1% for the race ahead, if you choose to take part.
Now the Six items of choosing for practicing are as follows:

Track Line Position - Increases Fast/Slow Corner Speed, Focus and Bravery.

Attacking Manuevers - Increases Aggression, Overtaking, Anticipation and Bravery.

Defensive Manuevers - Increases Anticipation, Composure, Decisions and Reflexes

Attacking&Defending - Increases Aggression, Overtake, Anticipation and Decisions.

Wet Race Practice - Wet Race, Focus, Bravery and Reflexes.

Mixed Practice - Overtaking, Anticipation, Reflexes and Focus.
The stats would improve through a formula depending on your current attributes of the ones you train.
(20/CurrrentStat)/10*1.5
A level 1 attribute will gain 3 boost
Level 10 attribute would gain a 0.3 Boost
Level 19 attribute would gain a 0.16 Boost

And again David puts a lot of thought into the game.
Not quite sure if I agree with (or even follow) your idea as it seems it would make things a tad complicated.
BUT that isn't to say that it is a bad idea - those that understand it will probably love it!

To be honest, as in-depth as this is, I don't see how adding further training would add to the game. Some members are already worried about drivers becoming the 'maxed out', and I know that one of my drivers isn't too far away from that kind of level as well.
I'm sure there are other things we could do with additional practices though. Although, this then springs up the problem of when these practices are available, as it would have to be available at all times leading up to the next race, to avoid some managers missing out.

This is not training, these boosts are temporary, existing for one race only. This allows the lower teams to slightly catchup to higher teams where they have a less great driver. As A level 1 in rookie, I had to do battle with level 6 teams, against teams with KERS and DRS. The boosts each driver obtains is removed right after the race. This generally adds more spice to setups and strategies, and gives lower teams with less better drivers, a better chance of pulling off some better racing results.
