Qualifying

How can a driver with the same stats as another but far less experience constantly be getting greater qualifying positions?
Overall are Drivers with lower Ride Height faster?

Weight counts aswell, also if they are lighter or have a setup where they drive less laps on the first stint they will be faster in qualifying

thanks Arjen, well the drivers weight are both 51Kg but I understood all qualifying is done with the same fuel regardless of stints and strategy

regarding the fuel, I have been wondering this myself lately hopefully someone could confirm either way :)

Yes I believe all qualifying is done with same fuel same push etc obviously there is some other factor thrown in. Maybe  it could be random when you get your lap and maybe the grip or track conditions change which might effect time...not really sure myself on how or what the times are based on other than obvious driver/team stats  as it does seem random at times
