Race Objectives&League Change

Hi guys!

I have a suggestion about race objectives and league change activity. I was winner of most races in my league so my race objectives was finish in the top. After season end, i changed my league for more competition. So i had penalty for stock car. Now i am racing with this car: COOLING:2 REL.:4 FUEL ECONOMY:8 Thats why i am getting bad results.

About League Change: I am OK with league change penalty but my league has ended and it will start 2 days later. I am joining new league stock car (all racers have upgraded their cars, they have better car than me allready). While i am allready worse car, i am getting penalty for changing league. So my new season is a trash now. So: while i am changing my league after league finish, why do i get a penalty? I am not gaining advantage over anyone and i am having disadvantage with racing stock car while others racing with upgraded cars. Afterall, i think it is unnecessary to give a penalty a driver whose league finished and his/her car with stock design points.

About race objectives: After i join a new league, i am finishing the races around 13th and 14th. My level is higher than other drivers but my car is the worst car in the league. But my race objective is still to finish top 5-6. I am racing disadvantaged car, penalished car and gaining no money. Race objectives should be parallel strong of the car, not level of driver. 

In this situation this season will be complately trash. Please consider this situation.

Next time, please consider finishing your season, and then leave the league. N then join the new league when (the new league's) season has ended.
This way there is no penalty.

You are penalised due to your own fault n now u trying to blame others.

Are you sure about understood what did i write? I don't think so.


I said: i am finishing 13-14th place and my objective is finish 8th last 3 races.
I said: my season ended after that i changed league. Still had a penalty.
I am not blaming anyone, this is place to share suggestions and i shared what i think.
I have another suggestion now for you: Leave the keyboard alone and try to learn reading.

As said by Bo previous results determine the sponsor expectations. With the exceptions of promotion and a league change like you did it works well enough. The problem is rather the rules of a league change. If you'd joined at the start of the season you would have got a comparable car, as long as your CD is good. But you joined after the 2nd race, and there:


  • If the new league is in a season greater than 1, then your designs will be scaled to the progress of the season. For example, if the season is in race 10, then you get "10 races of design progress", and if it's in race 16 then you get 16 races of design progress. This is applied to both the current and next season design, matching all progress to the league.

  • Design Points are also given when changing leagues, scaled to the season progress. 1 per race in Rookie, 2 per race in Pro and 3 per race in Elite. E.g. if you join the Elite tier in race 14 of the season, you'll also get 42 Design Points to spend on your car, in addition to the base design created by your active Chief Designer.



So you got 2 races worth of design progress, both for your car and development pool for next season and you should have got 6 design points to spend. Completely forgot joining mid season is still that harsh of a penalty.

But don't worry, the objectives should get better now while your performance should improve and close the gap, or already did given the Monaco result.
