is it or will it be possible to watch 2d races and livetiming from iOS devices (ipad, iphone)?

The live timing is already accessible in the browser on handheld devices, but not the 2D. One of the reasons we developed it in Java though is it can be ported to an iOS app at some stage more easily.
There won't be any development on this front (2D and iOS) until well in to 2012 at least, so not any time soon. In the meantime the timing should work fine. If not, let us know.

I tried to watching live timing yesterday but it only showed starting positions and Q lap times, maybe I did something wrong?

Oh, that was probably related to the white screen issue some people were having today. Should be alright now.

Hate to jump on another thread but it saves me starting another myself, I've been having the same issue using an ipod touch 4th gen - is there something we have to do ourselves or is it all sorted? (the quali times showing up in the live timing screen that is)
Would be handy to watch the live timing at the very least when I can't get to a computer to watch the 2d version but do have my ipod to hand.

Would be interesting if there was an app for live timing and commands, not even 2d viewer.
