Why did i start behind him ?

Qualifying as 3th , but 4th on the grid , we had equal times . but why did i start as 4th when i qualified as 3th ?
This is a mystery to me .

When two (or more) drivers make the same lap time, the 1st car to make the chrono, gets the 1st place (of the drivers equal laptime).

It must have been an issue; I'll pass a note to the devs.
