Driver position not saving

If you select "driver position" in the options to show during a race, it works. In the next race, the option appears as selected, but the numbers shown are the driver number, not the position, until you reselect it.

I have to re select every race.
When I go to reselect it says it’s already meant to be showing what I want but I have to cycle through the options back to driver position to refresh the data on the game/race screen

I thought this was a known bug experienced by everyone. In all the time I have played I have never known it to behave differently and I have seen it pop up in different forum threads before. I always assumed it was already on the list of "minor bugs we need to fix when there is time", but Yunus' post seems to contradict that so I'll highlight it with the devs now.

Are you having to do this in the app or on a computer such as a laptop or desktop?

Please also provide the model name of your phone if it's in the app and the OS version it is using, or for a computer, the name of the operating system and which browser you are using when you experience the problem.

Yunus, I see this problem consistently in the live viewer, but I think it's fixed in the beta viewer. (PC)

Okay, I will have to try it out myself to see if I can reproduce it on the live viewer and then try it in beta as well.
