When a driver wants to pit this lap in live race, the pit light should be red-colored so that it’s easily noticeable. The current flashing green blends in with the background, which makes it difficult to spot. A flashing red pit light would help managers realize when the driver is trying to pit. This could potentially reduce a lot of complaints from managers.

Would yellow work better with your son or other colour blind people in general (there are different kinds I think)? It's a natural warning colour and thus easily spotted as well.

Unfortunately not mate. Red Blue and Green are his and his brothers 3 main colours but even when ive shown them something red sometimes they come up with something different!! It really worries me when it comes to them getting there real drivers licence etc!! It also stops them from getting a lot of jobs over here eg police force, army navy etc etc Just have to do what we can and teach them the colour that we see as to what they see!

Yellow normally means Hazard or warning and a pit stop really isnt that so thats the only reason i agreed with the post. I dont have a problem either way though!

I think their should be info/massage in top of screen like xx is going pit in this lap ( xx is name of driver and its dont dissapier is sec its stey ther until he be in pit and do it with yellow or red color) and idea of change color for button is nice. I make this idea because I play on mobile and can only see 1 driver on screen and can miss second one. Sorry for English

I'm colourblind and struggle with reds, browns and oranges, then there's blue and purple, and finally pinks look grey to me. Don't worry about when your boys learn to drive, they'll already be used to the positions of the lights and if they're like me, they'll also go by how bright the colour is. To me red is the darkest, then Amber and finally green, which actually looks more like a torch.

The problem I used to have was the old Amber Street lights, if I was driving on the flat, it was no problem cos the height difference meant that I could tell them apart but if I was driving uphill and the traffic lights were at the top of the hill, the eyeline meant that the street lights and the traffic light appeared at the same height and I never knew if I was approaching traffic lights or street lights. I got round the problem by just being ultra cautious and slowing down until I knew which it was. 🤔

We still have the amber/orange street lights here in some roads so i will keep an eye out on that when they do start driving. One is old enough now that if he wants to get his licence he can but he has said he isn't ready yet and that's fine.
