Is team sponsorship with real sponsors allowed in iGP?

Team sponsorship in general, so it would included naming rights for teams, and brand logos linked to the team (as 'Official Partners') showing in various social medias (but not on the car itself)

And example would be:

Halfords Team Peter Man (naming rights)


I can get the sponsors, but obviously need to absolutely sure it is permitted before I proceed :)

Or just let people upload thier own images so they can choose any sponsor they want

What would the advantage and disadvantage be and surely if a company wants this they should approach igp about a deal with them

this isnt about igp rules n regulations anymore.

 

One question tho..
Lets say its all allowed (trust me, its not)

Lets say u get halfords to sponsor u and....... so on.......
Then someone else does this deal with ferrari.
Get the 'official sponsor' n everything.
Igp would be obligated to remove every teamname using the name ferrari in whatever way.

Well, you're just an average player, not related to any of the DEVs in any way. Your opinion is just that, an opinion, not a fact. To trust you on this subject, would at best, be unwise.



My query related to personal sponsorship, not exclusive sponsorship. Many eSport platforms permit sponsorship, in many forms.

An exclusive sponsorship is what you are referring to, and not what my initial query was referring to.

If you are not sure on the differences between the two, research the subject before making negative conclusions.
