Qualifying Fuel Loads

Hi,

I'm currently struggling to deciede how much fuel I will need for qualifying as I am unsure how many laps will be done?

Can anybody give me any tips how to work this out?

Qualifying is always done on low fuel - I think the number is 10 litres. Your fuel strategy only matters during the race. Stint 1 fuel is how much is in the car when the lights go out, so it really only matters as far as what strategy you want to run.

Awh ok, so the Q Tyres icon is basically just to indicate that these are your qualifying tyres not your actual fuel load for Quali aswell

I've also presumed you dont have to run both compounds of tyre in the race....is that correct?

You only have to use one compound.  

I'd love to see that implimented at some point.

Also, the tyres currently selected will be used for the practice running.

I didn't want to open another thread for this..... but how do you actually clone other teams parts? I have the button with the price but when I click it nothing happens

the part has to be higher than yours for it to work. also make sure you have the cash and click on the price.

The part is higher than mine and I have the cash but its still not working when I click the button... Can you shed any light why?

And we are all waiting impatiently to be implemented, that not race strategy is used for quali, so they go with "Take it easy" in a quali lap.
Can't count the number of races been ruined by that one.
Everytime you are not at your desk a race is running you'll have to set the strategy to work in a race ... and get lost in quali with a gridposition way down, so your race is ruined anyway...

Driving in a league, where there is sometimes half a second between pole position and 20th place you can imagine, that you are as dead as you can be, when going with "Back Off" in a quali...

What Dirk said. That drives me crazy when I have to miss a race and I know I will qualify badly because I can't just leave it on 'push hard' the whole race. A solution would be just automaticlly qualify everyone on the same push level and allow the one you chose to only affect race pace.

Looked at your profile and you're a Level 2 manager. In order to clone parts, you have to reach Level 3 (which takes four races) so the Research Facility unlocks. Basically, it's like this:

[*]Purchase Research Facility
[*]Click to go to the Research Facility
[*]Research Reverse Engineering for $2,000,000
[*]Clone parts (costs whatever the quoted price is). :)
