Research gains varies on many various factors such as how far you are in selected area, how far best team is in that selected area, how many percentage research you have, if you only are researching 1 or multiple areas,etc,etc

Hi Gytis
The points you receive each race are a proportion of the difference between your cars and the strongest team in the attribute(s) you are researching. The proportion is shown in the car review page as "Research Power".
Every race your dp in downforce and handling will change, as will the dp for the strongest team. As the difference between these two values changes so does the research dp you receive.
E.g. Imagine you have 50% research power
Race 1 your car 30 dp braking, strongest 50 dp. You will receive (50 - 30) x 50% = 10 dp
Race 2 your car is now 40 dp braking, strongest still 50. You will receive (50 - 40) x 50% = 5 dp
Then for the next race one of the other teams piles a bunch of dp into braking taking them to 70...
Race 3 your car now 45 dp braking, strongest 70 dp. You will receive (70 - 45) x 50% = 13 dp (12.5 rounded up to whole number)

If your downforce is for example 60 and the downforce of the best team is 72 and your researsch % is 50 you will receive 50% of the difference between you both. That means you receive 6 points.
When you researsch multiple area's at the same time your % will be splitted. If you researsch 1 area you have a % of 52 and when you researsch 2 areas you have a % of 26.
