Relegation when new to league

Hi all, i joined a new league before the last race of the season as i didnt think you could be relegated if u did this. I was promptly relegated! 

I have left the league but can my elite status be returned please as i was unaware this had changed?

I cannot understand how you did not realise that by finishing below the red line you would be relegated as you look like you are experienced at the game but watch the league you join or it could happen again and you could end up in rookie why would anybody join a league on last race below the red line unless they wanted relegation

Because in previous times Ken if you joined at the last race u were immune to relegation!

Fixed as in reinstated to an elite level Jose as its only giving me pro leagues to join?

When was this immune in force i have only ever known below line and relegated and been playing as long as you unless you have another team

I've never known this immunity from relegation you speak of. If you join a league at any point of the season and are below the relegation line after the last race of the season you are relegated. AFAIK it has always been this way and I've been playing the game since Feb 2015.

It certainly happened in 1 car leagues as ive seen seasons start with 33players when someone joined at last race season before. Maybe it doesnt work that way in 2 car leagues.

That was a bug that some people exploited. It only happens in a very specific set of circumstances which I won't elaborate on here in case the exploit is still available. It was also available in two car leagues, on the odd occasion there would be 17 teams in Elite.
It is not and was never standard functionality of the game.
