We have two different drivers.
They have the same attributes. But one has 18 rating and the other one has 20 rating.
Which one is faster? Or they have the same speed in a race?
Okay.... Your level 20 driver was level 18 up until a few months ago. Your other driver wasn't maxed out a few months ago.
The devs ran a script to upgrade all of the level 18 fully maxed drivers to L20. This is a fact and this is when your current L20 driver became a L20.
The script hasn't been run again so any drivers that became maxed out after this will be stubbornly stuck at L18.
I don't know what else you want anyone to say. The devs will not give away the mechanics of the game so you're unlikely to get them to respond.
Don't worry about the level, this is not going to cause any difference in speed, there are other factors at play.
Are you comparing your 2 current drivers? If that's the case 1 of your driver has 18 experience, rest 20 so 18 star level and 2nd driver has all 20 with 20 star level. So this might be 1 of the reasons why they are differrent star levels.
It seems that drivers that are generated from the new game rarely exceed L18 even when maxed out in all attributes. A few months ago the Devs ran a script which updated all of these L18 drivers to L20. My guess is that your L20 driver became this level when the script was run. I doubt your L18 driver will ever become L20 unless the Devs run the script again.
