Manager XP on a minus

I've just checked the results of my first iGP race of the season - and on the managers XP screen, even though coming first - the XP for that race is MINUS 2?! I'm confused by that

What was the results of your last race?

I won the last race of last season. I have however changed drivers and the number of managers has decreased since the last race. 

What about your other driver?

It's got to do with the strength of the league you are in versus your experience if I remember right. If your level/experience is far, far above the league you are in, you will actually lose XP despite winning.

You've lost reputation points, not XP.

I guess we need more experienced managers in the league then....

Yes Ash that would obviously boost the ''xp'' on offer for a good performance.

Your league is private so I can't see the average xp of your participants.
