Before anyone states the obvious, yes I'm aware that this idea would take an enormous amount of time, money and work, but I believe that, ultimately it would benefit the game long term.
My idea is that iGP should be multi-level, I don't just mean Rookie, Pro & Elite, which are basically just the same game, getting harder as you progress. I'm talking about having a game that has 3 levels of 3 levels so that you start in Rookie class 3, then as in the current game, if you're successful, you gain promotion to Rookie class 2 and finally, to Rookie class 1.
After that , if you're successful you move up to Pro class 3, then to Pro class 2 and then class 1 and finally, you move up to Elite class 3, class 2 and then to the top level, Elite class 1.
But this isn't just me saying that we should expand the current game to 9 levels, oh no, it's about each "section" being almost a different game. A bit like you get in the current F1 games where you can decide to start on the easy level or start at the expert level, you could decide at which point you join and if you find it too hard, join at a lower level. So, for example
Rookie could be a simplified version of the current game
Pro could be almost exactly this game ans
Elite could be a more complex version with more set up options and more driver training options, more tracks, more strategy options etc.
Like I said, it's not the work of a moment, but food for thought, eh?
