Or you could just look at the results from your last race. There's a button on the home screen just below the picture. The button says "Previous Race".

When on the game app go to main menu then go all the way to the bottom you will see an icon with ? Mark on it click on that and read up on info there will help you a lot. Also if you go to help and support section on forum then there are two guides there by Joey read them too.
