Limit transfer knockout stages

Limit transfer knockout stages to 5 then replace with a simultaneous bidding system where the highest bidder wins?

i feel these need to be limited to 5 so that the auction doesn’t last forever or at least have some way to divide the last people gunning for the transfer such as giving 5 minutes after the fifth stage to allow all players to place a bet where the amount is unknown to the other players. After 5 minutes the bets are revealed and the highest one buys it at that price which has to be higher than the last bid in stage 5.  So you can risk it for loads of money or try and beat others by a bit but I understand they need the knockout stages to eat out tokens for more buisiness.
