This is probably a dumb question. I have read on the forums about DRS - but I also see posts about using KERS ? I understand DRS - but I am not sure what KERS means? Thanks in advance.

Kinetic Energy Recovery System, also known in this game as "Boost". It's available after the first two laps and the amount you have remaining is shown as a percentage figure on the driver controls and an approximate visual indicator as a battery icon above the selected car.
Of you don't attend the race the game will automatically deploy KERS using some form of artificial unintelligence so you're better off attending and deciding yourself when to use it.
