Just wanted to know this little question.
Waiting for the last minute to do a setup is one of those "not fun moments" of igp. Would be nice to know if i only have to worry about rain or i need to keep doing this.

i think rain plays a factor, the game does say to do your runs closer to the lock out time.
Weather
If you click on the 'Home icon' the weather forecast will be shown for today and the next 3 days. By choosing 'League' then 'Next Race' you will be able to see the current weather. This is important to check before running setups & strategy. You can set your race strategy whenever you want, but ideally you want to do the actual test runs as close to setup lock as possible to ensure the best setup.
NB. You can do your test runs the day before your actual race but this is risky if you set your car up with a wet weather setup and the race is in dry conditions, although you can still run dry tyres your car will be setup for a wet track which will lose you valuable time

I think he is meaning will his setups change alot if it stays dry for instance, but the track is 45 degrees for the race and he maybe did his setups in 30 degrees temperatures.

In short though, no, from my experience they do not change a lot. I've done setups before while it is 32 degrees at Abu Dhabi and come race time it's up to 45 degrees, and my setups have remained practically the same.
However weather yes, if it rains they will change a ton.
