It would be useful to have a facility for the league host to be able to send a pm to everyone in the league.

Possibly more features as in Disabling Spectating and preventing people from outside the league from posting on the comment page or voting.

Why would you disable spectating? If you're thinking of joining a league, spectating is the best way to know if it's a good idea or not.
