What did you try to do?
When signing a new member of staff, I looked for one around the £680k mark. I found one, placed a bid and won the auction. When the staff member was then shown on my staff list it said he had 1 race left until contract renewal, which I then had to, increasing his cost to £735k
What happened instead?
It should be stated that contract renewal will be immediate if that is the case

That wasn't supposed to happen. All newly bought team members are supposed to enter the team with a 20 races contract. I'll escalate this for further inspection. Also could you please a link to that staff member in question?
