So as you can see one driver automatically pit when he still had a laps fuel left and the other one didn't. Why is this? Push levels ARE NOT to blame here. When the driver who pitted a lap earlys pit light came on by itself, he was still on low push (1 or 2/5, I can't remember which), so a dev can not tell me that I pushed too early making it use more fuel etc .. He had more than enough (granted it was pushing it), what gives?

I think this also depends on his 'attributes' - in other words he makes poor decisions!

Well that could make sense I suppose... (he is a poorly trained level 10 driver at the moment with low everything except physical)... But in saying that this is a first for me since I started the game.

yeh I think it is an aspect of the game that a lot of people don't take into account.  It is difficult to explain how it works but some managers think there is a bug when actually the game is working as intended - they have a poor driver.

If all the game expected you to do was 'set up and go' there would be no challange in getting a good driver/staff/sponsors etc.

I am glad you understand this.  Some people have been very lucky with their staff and drivers and some (me!!) have not been so lucky, so I know what it is like.

It's what Jake said. Your driver can miscalculate how much farther he can go on the fuel he's got, and as a result can pit a lap early (or sometimes a lap late!).

Can any1 explain why following happened:

My driver had two quite similar 10 lap stints in Malaysia, but before other one was uncompleted she decided to pit, while I wasn't unfortunately paying attention to her doings.. In data it shows there would have been enough fuel left to complete the race without extra pit stop, with comfortably 13th place, which seemed to be safe finish there.
