why is there no consistent money for promotions/wins from sponsors?

Yes there are bonuses, but they appear random. As someone that plays on the app I cannot see what will make me earn my bonuses, so it appears totally random.

Each race position (day at least through the points) should have its own cash value, and promoting should, as well.

Just a thought.

Tricky business this subject is Mason. Top 10 will always get more rewards than the rest of the field.

I would contemplate the idea of free parts and/or engines for watching your race live or something along those lines.

Well, yes. That’s kind of the way it happens in real life. What’s tricky about that?

Here is the thing, they could give a weighted average of money to all finishers based on position, not just top 10, for all races, and final position in the championship.

Also, in selecting a sponsor, when looking at bonuses, you could elect sponsors based on you projected finishes - say top 3, top 10, bottom half, etc. if you don’t meet those standards you don’t get paid your bonus.

For instance, if you take a sponsor that says you’ll finish in the bottom half but win out, you don’t get the bonuses from the sponsor, but you still get your race income.

Everyone is so worried about parity when you have a pay to play game, seems silly.

If you wait until the last 3 minutes before the race starts and go to the home screen, the next race area will have a "Go to race" button as well as tell you the requirement for your bonus.

EL CHAPO;

"Well, yes. That’s kind of the way it happens in real life. What’s tricky about that?"

Well...this isn't real life... it's a game... one that's under a lot of scrutiny from F1 ppl that would love nothing better than to ding igp for licencing issues.

"Also, in selecting a sponsor, when looking at bonuses, you could elect sponsors based on you projected finishes - say top 3, top 10, bottom half, etc. if you don’t meet those standards you don’t get paid your bonus."

The issue I see with this is the same all same all.... the current better managers will continue to get better.... disillusioned fairly new players will soon get bored and quickly look for the exit door. The devs are making adjustments and really keeping the game for the most part simple to play.

"For instance, if you take a sponsor that says you’ll finish in the bottom half but win out, you don’t get the bonuses from the sponsor, but you still get your race income.

Hmmm.... like  Joshua has pointed out already.... there's a relative similar system in place. However, your idea definitely will make it more predictable and thus easier to plan. I think I like the sound of that.

we aren’t talking about copying sponsors, names, etc. different issue. We’re talking payouts, nothing wrong with that. The way this game is engineered is you really have to pay to play, which kind of sucks, if you think about it, because the financial structure is such that it’s very hard to make money.

I strongly disagree with that. You can perfectly play this game and become a top player without spending any money on it.

totally wrong, if you have the right sponsors and cheap drivers, you can play it without paying. it is Really the first Game i found where you can make it to the top without paying.

i do not Pay and i am quiet successful.

I agree with that. Of course you don't have the comfort to just spend whatever whenever you please, but with a solid financial plan (which includes spending token) it's quite possible to play successfully without spending real money. However it's, of course, true that you can buy a little bit of progress, so early on in the game someone paying can get ahead a little bit faster and thus has a bit of an advantage. Usually, given it's sensible amounts spent, not enough that someone not paying can't beat him but still an advantage. But with time going on and the teams reaching the end game area that advantage evaporates slowly again as regardless how much anyone pays it's not possible to progress further than someone not paying. So with paying the game is just a little bit easier and comfortable, as you don't have to deal with managing finances to get the most performance, a little bit prettier, as you can buy more (often) liveries and stuff (there could be more though), and, if played well, a little bit faster progress, but in the end you can't buy race performance.
