Wat probeerde je te doen?
Just started and try to join a Competition

Wat gebeurde er in plaats daarvan?
Nothing happens when I press Join or the GP logo in the top

Deed het probleem zich voor terwijl je wifi of mobiele data gebruikte, of bij beide?

Deed het probleem zich voor in de app, op PC of op beide?

Hello,

First of all you have to join a league, once you join a league you can start competing.

That is the same as Competition. And that is the thing that doesn't work already.

PLEASE READ WHAT I SAY, cause now you sound only dumb and that for a community manager of this forum. That is not good as we may expect some knowledge and not just standard catch frases like you do in this topic.

Competition is same as a League, only in other words.

SO IT MEANS THAT THE GAME DOESN'T ALLOW TO JOIN A LEAGUE

NOW YOU UNDERSTAND? JEEZ. COME ON.

First of all, I ask you to calm down and treat with respect those who are trying to help you. My phrases are not automatic. Now we have understood you and we are reviewing the bug, you must understand that your report is only one line and the bugs we don't know how to reproduce them are difficult to identify. I am sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused, we are working to solve it.

Hi E W,

First of all welcome to our game. I have taken the same steps as Jose and I have logged in on your account and can see you have not yet joined a league. 

Joses' response is correct, so the emails and flaming on the thread posts are a bit over the top as a response to how he has tried helping you along.

To help us along with your issue can you please help us, help you by letting us know the exact version of the Edge browser you are using? Also have you tried a different browser like Chrome or Firefox?

Either way there is something called development tools with the browser, to find out how to get these up you can use your favorite search engine for advice on how to bring it up.

Once you have it up there should be something called a console tab. Can you please screen shot both your browser screen and the developer tools.

There has been no other notable issues that are the same as what you are describing so this appears to be affecting just you.

Darren, I told that Competition is the same as League and that, that is already the issue I have. And he repeat exactly the same answer that was already not right the first time. On that point he wasn't helping. He would be helpfull if he stated can you tell more about it, instead of repeating "you have to join a league first". Also you help people when you look further then the English and Issues you know. As when I Google Translate the Dutch Word Competitie to English I get 2 options Competition and League. So when I tell that League and Competition is the same and that the game doesn't allow me to join 1, why then repeat the same thing, as they are not really helping.

So I have not yet joined a league, because the game doesn't allow me to join 1. When I use the link I can without issues press Make or Join (In Dutch -> Competitie, English -> League/Competition), but when I then press Join in the list of leagues, nothing happens.

I do not have any other browser, my laptop has also not the space for it anymore as Win10 became almost as big as this HDD inside is, aspecially when Win10 refuses to remove the old Win10 version. The Laptop even doesn't want to do restore factory defaults as the space is not big enough

Sorry to hear about the difficulties you've had and thanks for being persistent enough to contact us. I just logged in as you and joined a league without any issues, so you are now in a league. If you would like to change league, you can view alternatives at any time or switch via the league page.

It sounds like the issue was that the confirmation dialog was not opening on your browser (since you said you press 'Join' and nothing happens - there is supposed to be a small bubble that pops up to confirm with a checkmark/cross to confirm this). If that is the problem, you're going to have consistent issues throughout the game - it's used in many places.

We strongly recommend only using the latest versions of Firefox or Chrome. It sounds like you are using Edge, which is not really compatible with iGP Manager (the live races won't work either). Regardless, I will try to replicate it and see if I can fix it.

Only message I see when opening the game is was from Staff you get 30T.

I use Edge and then 15.15063

I went into the game and it works still very poor. Nothing happens when I press the GP logo in the top. Can navigate the first menu and go to mail and switch tabs there. But not able to delete the mail there is.

Hi E W, I just edited my reply once I realised you were using Edge. It's not currently compatible with iGP Manager and we should put much clearer warnings of this in the UI about this when we can detect it. I will add that to my to-do list.

If you want to play the game normally you're going to need Chrome or Firefox, or to install the app on any mobile/tablet you have. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
