Hi, I'm asking you why my team "Iustiniani Corse" at the end of this Rookie season arrived 3rd and the team "Dingo" arrived 2nd. We have both 370 points but looking at the results my team had 4 wins during the season and his team had only 2.
This costed me the promotion. Could you check and eventually fix that? Or tell me if I am wrong :) thx

I imagine that both of you won a race during the season and that Team Dingo won a race before you did.
According to the developers, teams on equal points are ranked by their best finishing position and when this is the same the team who achieved this first is ranked higher.
Please can you check this is the case because your season has finished and I am unable to see your previous seasons results.

Thank you for the fast reply. Dingo won 2 races and me 4... I can understand if both of us won the same number of races...

The ranking for equal teams in iGP is not the same as real F1 (Number of wins, if equal the number of seconds, if equal the number of thirds etc...)
As I said, the number of wins is not the deciding factor, it is the the team that achieved the best result first. Note this is the tie breaker for the team championship, I think the drivers championship is different, I'll check.

Sorry man, you told me "I imagine that both of you won A race during the season and that Dingo won a race before you did". But in case of 2 vs 4 races I expected it would be different :)
Lol, never heard that before (I'm an experienced manager with 10000 points with my 1st account) but this is the first ending with same points for me...
So, i think this is a bit unfair and illogical. It's an "all-in" for the fist races. If you win does not matter if your opponent wins the rest of the races :D
If things are in this way...I have to accept it but I will make a suggestion for thet game in the future :)
Not to mention the many tokens thrown in the trash...

Hi Alessandro
I see you have raised a separate thread in the Suggestions section to address this problem so I will set this thread to "Solved"

As a follow up to my previous post, it seems that the drivers championship uses the same tie break rule as the team championship. For drivers on equal points it first looks for their best finishing position, if these are also the same the driver that achieved the result first is ranked higher in the championship.
