Can we get this modified please. In our league, if you aren't in the top 4 qualifying you can't win. Its a super soft tyre, ma push and the tyres don't get any heat in them.
Really is a bore of an event
Bastian Ba medal 5001 5 years 337 days ago
Looks like reality it is the track characteristic. i remember a f1 race either last season or the season before, riccardo won without KERS, he had 200 hp less than the others, but noone could overtake him.
Jens Whayne medal 5000 5 years 337 days ago
Monaco itself is a very boring track in reality.
So why it would be more intresting in the game.
Just cancel the track from here and from real F1 calender,.
Adam Murphy medal 5000 5 years 337 days ago
But we are reminded this is a racing app not an F1 racing app. So things like the rate of tyre temps can be changed. Running pl5 non stop is not a good experience with cold tyres
Bastian Ba medal 5001 5 years 337 days ago
i remember when it was warmer, there i used pl 4 and pl 5, but changed nothing regarding overtaking.
its just the track, some like it some not, i prefer a more realistic way and don't mind to have one of These in the calender. brings in some diversity.

Monaco is a track where also in every real race class, it would be difficult to overtake. So also not in your league, but in any league, if no one runs out of fuel or wrong tyre choice. I'm new to the game so don't know what is mentioned with pl4, etc.

Or you guys need improve your game to start inside the top 4 to get a good result instead of complaining about everything because you cant score any points there.

My league has only had one Monaco race that had a 5 way fight for the lead. After the first pit stops, only the top 2 remained together. Halfway through the stint, the leader ran away and took a comfortable victory. Other than, every race has been a snore fest. Mid pack can get some battles via superior boost management or getting DRS off of backmarkers, but most of the time, look 2-3 positions in either direction from your driver's qualifying position, and they'll usually finish somewhere in there.
Honestly, wouldn't mind if we could skip this race. Or, maybe replace it with a second race in Great Britain since it's new configuration has been leaked.

Guys, every track has its own characteristics. We can't start making changes because some managers get it and others don't. There can only be one winner on every race....unfortunately.
Monaco is by far the easiest track to setup for....but one of the toughest to use the same strategy twice. I suggest to make it your personal challenge to win this race every time...
Good luck with that!

The crucial thing is, no one complains about the characteristics other tracks... most if not all only complain about Monaco. Monaco is the only track with bad characteristics, so people will keep complaining about it until it is changed. Does that not sound logical to you? We can't say Monaco is good just because other tracks are good, that makes zero sense. It would be like saying Hards are a good, useable tyre because the rest of the tyres are useable. You can't continue to let something be so obviously bad just because it's tradition, eventually things have to change and we must deal with it. Usually people say if it ain't broke don't fix it... let's just say Monaco needs
a lot of fixing xD

I've won Monaco more times than any race. I've won it from starting 1st down to 8th. That doesn't make it any better.
People saying than its strategy etc are talking bull or are in an easy league .
Those who win it and complain know what they are talking about

One of the unique problems of Monaco are the tyres, or their lack getting temperature. The tyres will be looked into again and thus it might change. Also the updated Silverstone marks the first of expected new tracks, and once a small selection is available the plans are to allow leagues to do their own race calendar, once that happens it's up to your league if, or how often, Monaco has a place in the calendar (See the iGP blog, link above).

Which league is it?

Ich bin wie Bastian der Meinung, dass man die Eigenarten von Strecken einfach akzeptieren sollte. Ich finde Monaco immer spannend!

Started 8th and 10th, finished 1st and 3th on Monaco. Only win and podiums this season and we are at Japan now.

Unfortunately you are in rookie and a fairly easy league so you won't experienced the problems others have and will continue to face
Bastian Ba medal 5527 5 years 312 days ago
with that logic we would have to delete more tracks.
once the cars maxed out and you are in a really competitive league, you will face that problem on all tracks where its not worth starting on a softer compound. for example Monza, Spa and japan.

Now we are getting somewhere!!!!

I think it's safe to say if there was one track that had to be removed off of the calendar, 95% of players would kick Monaco off. So iGP, please fix new GB and give us custom calendars so we can have 17/17 good races and not borefests such as every Monaco GP
Christian Konrath medal 5000 5 years 311 days ago
Monaco is unique. Why destroy the character of this track. We speak of history and tradition. Just because some ignorants do not accept this justifies just changing a legend? No, I think Monaco should be left what it is: a myth and a unique experience!
