Has anybody else experienced issues viewing this site with IE8 ?  I have several display glitches that do not occur with Google Chrome including gradually shinking text in the league comments.  I have tried viewing the site on more than one machine and using compatibility view.

Not off the top of my head, but I get blurry text on chrome so I always have used FF.

Well, if it is any help I cannot even log into IE on either version 7 or 8.
I don't have time just now to download version 9 so have no idea if that would work or not.

FYI if you're not on Windows Vista or Windows 7 you can't run IE9.

It's not a big loss... IE 9 is decent near as I can tell, but I've never used it because I switched to Firefox full-time back in like 2004. I still prefer Firefox to IE 8, and I keep Opera 12 around as a backup. Opera is a good browser too, but it's so different to basically every other browser that it takes a while to get used to.

Bottom line, there's plenty of perfectly good browsers out there.

Yeh thanks again James.
I use Firefox too as it is so 'uncluttered'.  And have Chrome for test purposes - and have had no issues while using this.  My partner has Opera and thinks it is the best - each to their own!

I use Iron on my (very old) laptop as it doesn't need a whole vanload of memory or whatever.

Not that any of this is helping Eric Price with his query!
