How do I delete a team 

You dont.... 
Let it rot in the cloud....
Start a new team....
You may need a different email for new account....not sure. 
Then have a roo stake and beer and lough about it..

I did what you suggested, roo steak , blue beery sauce and Kokanee

You can send an email to support@igpgames.com with request to close the account with following details such as username, team name, league it's in, drivers name, etc
