So I recently found a game where you can choose which side of the track you want to run, or you can choose middle. During the live race you can switch it for turns and corners coming up.
If all you're doing is playing against AI's then that works every time. However, in a live race with human users online is not as realistic.
The day we actually "have to" do the steering in this game would be a very sad day.... That's when it stops being a management simulation and just another 3rd view game...
