Turning Advanced option off

How about turning the advanced option off, ocne you entered the live race?
like it has been made with the auto boost. So everyone can manage the strategy in case it Starts raining.
In todays race both of my cars pitted when it started raining, i could not react, because it happened directly in front of the pit lane. 4 laps before race end. So my good race was destroyed by that.
Additionally would solve a lot of issues i observed, not by myself but by my competitors, with auto pitting, additional stops, wrong tires....

is it possible, to implement that soon? its annoying when you lose a Championship because of that.

or maybe a fast fix should not be much effort, to implement decimal numbers, so we can select for example 0,3 instead of 1 to swith on wet tires, would solve at least the issue we had.
Additionally would fit Better to the range where you switch on inters or wet.
Could be a fast fix.
