When racing does your driver automatically pit if fuel is low?
When you have two stints set up when does a driver choose to pit?
If it is automatic, is it still automatic if I'm logged in and following the race?

Thanks :)

It's always automatic, and your driver pits when they either a) get a puncture or b) don't have enough fuel to do another lap.

Except the last lap of course (member of the 1 meter club).

But generally this only happens when you're there and change the push levels and use more fuel than it estimated. If you aren't, it's usually pretty good.

Please guys, it's not called the 'One Meter Club', it's called 'I really messed up my strategy club'

I've done it myself but then again, admitting your mistakes is the first step to not making them again.

There seems to be a few tracks where you can be so close on fuel that it won't automatically pit. I have had it happen (in the pit lane before the line) and I was babying the push levels.

On the question of automatic racing, if you're set up to run dry tyres, but it turns out at the start of the race it's raining, do you start on dry tyres, or does it change for you?

The grid is set 10 minutes before lights out. If you set up dry, and it's raining at grid time, the game will switch you to whichever compound you set in the "if it rains for X laps" section of your Advanced Strategy (vice versa if you set up wet and it's dry at grid time). If the conditions change between grid time and lights out, you start on whatever tires were set at grid time.
