I have two experienced drivers from many seasons, both have more than 300 races.

The oldest has 36 years old, he has won 2 championships and more than 30 races.
The "youngest" has 34 years old, he has won 12 (yes) world championships and more than 130 races.

But I'm noticing this season that my performance Is dropped a lot compared to previous ones.

I'm still in the lead of both championships, but I don't achieve a podium since 5 races.
I have all the major skills at 100 (bonus provider imcluded), apart obviously reliability and cooling.

The strange thing is that my dangerous opponent seems to be a manager with level 17, 3 level under mine.
I don't understand how he can be so quick in every race.

So I thought: the most important parts of the development are at maximum value, the drivers have a lot of experience... So, why my cars are became so slow?

The possible explanation could be only one: my drivers are simply too old?

Maybe there's some point at the career when a driver start losing perfomance.

It's possible, or drivers are always at their maximum speed until they retire?

Yes as drivers age over a certain limit their performance starts to drop. So then it's time to promote the youth.
