I'd like to suggest a rule voting for each league, and run the voting once or twice per
season, vote for things like these (Suggestions here to illustrate how this system could work):
- Tire change, obligatory at least 2 compounds usage or not(current system);
- With new tracks being added (As per future release notes, there seems to be a huge number of tracks to be avaiable soon), and option to choose one track to be removed and one to be added in it's place;
- Number of motors per period of 20 races (Vote for 20 motors re-stock, or 18, or 22);
- Estipulate or not a maximum number of tires to be used on each race, and give each player the option to choose from 3
different sets of tires (Agressive - More SS, Less S, Less M, no H / Balanced - All the same / Conservative - Less SS... You get the idea).
If not voted for, just keep the way it is now, inifinite tires for everyone. If voted for, players would have to manage usage
from trainning sessions and qualifying (Which should affect tire degradation), and have to use old tires if the management goes bad.
- Refuelling or no refuelling;
- Race duration for next season (There is an option now/in the future to change duration for next race, would
be nice to have this as an option on some leagues);
Like this, each league could have it's own set of rules and they would be managed by the players themselves inside of it,
according to the majority, and it could be changed from season to season, as new players enter, old players go or get promoted, etc.
And yes, I know it's actually a set of suggestions inside the voting suggestion itself, so later I can make a sepparate
suggetsion thread for each, but like this at least it's tidy, and also more to show the idea of the league voting
system, which by itself would be very nice IMHO. But again, even if there are some suggestions here which do not exist in game, the main suggestion is the league voting system.
To level things, votes could be weighted based on the teams points, or maybe based on car stats and or performance? Just one more idea here.
