What do you guys reckon will happen next week in Baku in Formula 1?  I'm thinking a Ferrari will win, only one Mercedes will make it on the podium, and one or both of the Renaults will retire.  I'd say one safety car.

What do you guys think?  No specific question for this one, just let us know what you think will happen!

Looking at the last few years, an F1.5 team will get onto the podium. Baku has a long flat out section, Mercedes will be better here but it also has the tight, slow sections  swhere the Ferrari will be better. Whatever happens, I hope that the camera crew focus more on the mid-field than they did in China.

Ferrari are faster on straights but slower in corners. Mercedes will be faster round baku because of ferraris tyre heating or something like that, forgot where i read it from.

I reckon a midfield team will make it on the podium, and a williams will finish 14th place. 5 cars will retire and 1-2 safety cars.

Yeah, it definitely would have made for a better viewing had they focused more on Räikkonen's, Albon's and Stroll's drives. Apart from Verstappen's attempt to pass Vettel, there wasn't any interesting battle at the front of the field, where the coverage was focused. Hope that it is better in Baku, the midfield battle there is going to be really interesting

I think Mercedes will go into the race as the favourites..the track characteristics of Baku will suit them more (similar to Australia..heavy braking zones)

Will be nice if Ferrari can join in the mix, Red Bull and McLaren will also be factors (Car stability will be crucial in the tighter sections)

And definitively a safety car! :D Maybe 2 or 3! xD

*swigs* *hic* Okay. Bakuuuu. Ya'll reaaaaadyy?

Qualifying:
- Bottas pole
- Hulkenberg wall
- Gasly eliminated Q1

Race:
- 3 or more safety cars. Grosjean doesn't spin under them this time, but instead Erricson's into the back of his teammate.
- Kimi hit by someone or something 3 times, still eventually goes on to score points because Alpfa Kimi.
- Verstappen races Leclerc for the lead, only for both to crash, the catalyst for rekindling a heated rivalry that started from their karting days.

- Stroll runs 3rd after yet another great start from P17, working his way up the field, and benefiting from shenanigans up front.
- Vettel in 2nd spins while trying to catch the leader and appears in front of the 2016 F3 Euro champ. WTFHDHDJ! #*&$ sake! Crash!
- Renaults move up to 3rd and 4th. Suddenly their engines get error 404 and they stop on track.
- Sainz in 5th or 6th or something also has his Renault engine get error 404.
- Kvyat happily running comfortably in the points. Gets torpedo'd by Giovinazzi. Kvyat out. Gio only needs to replace his front wing and continues. World is cruel for the former torpedo.
- 40 seconds ahead of his nearest challenger, Bottas is comfortably (and rather enthusiastically) leading the race, his ambitions for a 2019 championship truly well on the way.
- Then Bottas runs over debris from Kvyat and Gio's torpedo moment. Tyre down. Puncture. Has to pit and loses the lead.

- Perez finishes 2nd. Because Perez and Baku.
- Norris finishes 3rd. Because he is gentle with his Renault. Or Renault is gentle with him. It's a mystery.
- Williams scores their first points cuz they're too slow to even touch anyone or anything but each other.

- Hamilton, after starting in P6 - P10 due to reasons, wins. 11 wins in last 15 races. Defending champ leading the championship. Why is F1 so boring smh same winner all the time what a #^$* sport.

Final race results (top 10):
1. Hamilton
2. Perez
3. Norris
4. Bottas (he makes it this time, Alonso'ing it back to the pits thanks to his idgafanymore 2019 update)
5. Alpfa Kimi
6. Albon
7. Giovinazzi (not Gio's a Nazi, okay Crofty?)
8. Russell
9. Kubica
10. Gasly (I love you, Gasly. You'll prove them wrong soon, just pls give me my lame meme)

O wait that's all 10 cars that finished.

(I'm ready to be all wrong)

Ferrari will cripple LeCharles to let Seb ahead only for Vettel to spin when fighting wheel to wheel,

Ericsson is making a comeback from Baja racing for this race only,   just to fulfill Boomer Kid's Prophecy :)
everything else except Gasly i agree with,
Gasly will destroy car in practice and not make quali,
Renault will serve stale croissants
McLaren will do pulled pork sliders and Ferrari will make LeCharles get behind Seb in the run to the toilets,

Well done Baku. Lesson learnt to not get the hopes too high after all the crashing in quali, even if its Baku. It was nice for McLaren to get a double points finish though
