Hi, I've not been following my staff too closely but I'm curious to confirm my suspicions. Are non-driver staff not gaining experience with each race? Seems like they are stuck until I train them, and even then I don't know for sure they are gaining much experience enough to level along with the drivers. I would have expected that after each race, every staff member should gain some amount of xp as well since they have also participated. My marketing manager for instance has been so close to level 6 now that I'm wondering if he's ever going to get there or if I'd be better off hiring someone new when his contract expires as I don't want to always train him just to see if he's going to level up.

I know from a previous thread that not all staff ratings, driver ratings, etc.. are implemented but seems like levelling should be a basic one that works. Please correct me if I'm wrong, perhaps I'm missing an element of the game still that allows me to keep my staff up to par.

Jeff, you seem to keep asking questions that have already been answered, could use the search function please?

But Staff do not progress other than Experience, morale and charisma (through Doctor Training, and experience, through well.. experience), their overalls do not change at the moment as the feature is YTBI.

David, while I appreciate the suggestion about the search...perhaps a more valuable response would be the actual thread(s) you're referring to? The only thing I found close to what I'm asking is this thread and it's got conflicting answers and no comment from a dev.

I've seen the doctor improves the team morale when training with him, but it never mentions the effect on charisma or experience. Are you suggesting the doctor training will affect other staff's charisma level as well? If so, then I'd suggest that's broken as I've not seem my charisma change... I've not seen a noticeable change in the experience corner of the triangles either. I've guessed that there is no correlation between the "experience" corner on the triangle and the "experience bar" on the overall. Not sure if it would make the answer any different if I had referred to the "experience bar" in my original message, that's actually what I'm most interested in. As per the last post in that thread I referenced above (which is over 3 months ago and I consider outdated...), it matches what I have seen that the level CAN change for overall but it seems inconsistent and/or slow. Until I see a dev response on a question of these types, I have to take answers with a grain of salt and keep an eye on what people have suggested (who haven't seen or managed the code itself).

I know you're a beta tester and have been playing a long time (at least in comparison to myself) but perhaps you forget what it means to be learning these things and getting confirmation of what I suspect is happening. Having seasoned veterans answer questions is helpful, having a lack of explanation as to why is useless imho. I've said it many times in my other posts, I think the game has a lot of potential but my interest in playing it degrades every time I encounter a mechanic of the game that is exposed but not yet implemented. I believe it was you who said documentation is being worked on to explain all of this but I haven't seen it as of yet and until such time, I'm going to ask questions so feel free to ignore my posts if you'd like :)
