Since we are not receiving the 100% of the cash when selling a driver in auction (which I disagree, but kinda understand why) I believe the prices of the drivers should get higher as they improve their lvl, for example, I bought a lvl 5 driver, talent 17, now he is lvl 11 and he is worth the same, since i found a better driver I need to sell him and its unfair that all the time spent training him its worth nothing and unrealistic.

Ok, His original level was 5, he's level 11 now and worth the same to sell as when you bought him at level 5. Right?

I hear your frustration Alfredo.

However, he must've given you some benefits(making it worth your while to keep him) for you to keep him that long.

Although what you are suggesting makes sense, some things are just hard to make sense here when there is so much iGP fears doing to avoid licensing battles with F1.

i had the same thought, when i was new here. Now i understand why it is like this. A high level manager would have the opportunity to train drivers from youth academy and make an unilimited amount of money.
In case we would be able to just sell to other managers it could make sense so you take the risk that noone is buying your driver. But as long as there is a market (direct sell) for every driver, that would create a cash machine.

I only don't understand when the Driver is so good someone wants it directly, u pay half the price and make up for it with 9 coins. However the selling party recieves only half the price and no coins. So u get less for something that is so good. I do not understand that at all.

I think that is made, to compensate for spending coins. One coin is worth more than 1 Million when using to Change for cash. For a seller to another Player it is not good. For a seller to noone i think it is ok to get less. looks to me that they tried to find an easy system which is quiet fair to all.

I'm almost following this...

However, Bastian's point is legit since we are Managers and there's an economy cycle within the game. As a business owner it's reasonable to expect returns on your investments even when they have served you dividends already.

The seller gets the full price, but the buyer only pays half the cash plus the 9 coins. Try it out if you have two accounts and sell from one to the other. You can look up what you paid/got for the driver after the transaction in the fincial tab and further selecting history. You must of course auction him off and then acquire him via the "buy now" button. If you sell him in the free market you will also just receive half of the cash amount.

Driver price / wage can drop if on market some time with out been on any team. For example 25% down of current price / wage every month. For drivers 35+ years of age can drop even more.

Getting drivers from other team's can be calculate in a way = ( max driver price if on market + driver price on current team ) /2
That way the price / wage will increase but will not be on max.

Furthermore can be removed from system after 6 months or so if not active.
