Hello, I just started the game few days ago, I started training my drivers in the stamina category and their level kept increasing, but now they have five red stars on their profile and they won't train anymore. the red stars appeared when they both hit 15 on the stamina perk

Since I was only level one I expected them to be able to train again after my first race, but it just happened, I'm now level 3 and they still show the 3 red stars, meaning I still can't train them even in the other fields than stamina. (technically I can train them, but it only makes them progress 3% where before the red stars it was more around 45% each training)
Is there something I'm missunderstanding about driver leveling here ?

A yes, that's a part of the early game I actually forgot myself lately. To help getting started the game treats the levels 1-3 all like level 3 in terms of limits and caps. So even you were still level 1 the game let you train your drivers all through level 2 and 3 without being affected by the soft cap, which then finally hit as they got to level 4. The downside of all of this is that your manger level now needs to catch up with them at level 4 to turn the stars yellow again and let you train them at a better speed again for a little bit (until they hit level 5, if they hit that before your manager level does that is, and so on).
