Can I sell a driver directly to my son

Directly? No. But if the driver is not above his manager level he can buy him. Just send him a copy of the driver's URL and let him shortlist the driver. Then agree upon a time where you release the driver, preferably 'sell now' and your son can take the driver under contract with 'buy now'. If you time it like that you should usually have no problem that sb else is buying him instead. If you don't choose the 'sell now' option the driver will be added to the transferlist and sb else might steal him if you're not fast enough. But a couple of seconds should be fine. 

P.S.: If the driver is already a high level driver your son will have to pay a lot of wages for him. So consider transferring a high talent youth academy driver instead.
