Hey guys, I'm in the rookie tier of a league, but they only do two races a week. I'd love to join a league that does a race every day. I love this game and purchased subscription.

However, I don't want to join a Pro tier just yet. Having done two races, my car will be underdeveloped compared to somebody who has done a full season already.

So, if I leave this leave, having done two races, can I join another rookie tier in a new league? Thanks for help.

Yes you can but it would be better to go Pro anyways. In the design update, All tiers have some restrictions on level and number of projects they can do. Racing in Pro will also give you some better insight into the game.

Further to changing leagues. I am thinking of moving to a less hectic league at the end of this season or the next. I am in Pro and have a possibility of being promoted to elite. Do I have to go back through rookie if I join a new league?

No you will stay at whatever level you are a when you leave the league you are in.

If you are promoted to Pro you can't join Rookie tier. Does'nd matter what league, what level, etc. Right?

unless you reset your team or are relegated, i believe theyre the only ways to go down the tiers.

If I switch at the end of the season will all teh development work I have done for next season be carried with it?
I want to join a two car league from the one car I am in currently.

Your design will be scaled according to the level of the new league

Actually I'm under the impression now that there is no scaling at all, under any circumstances.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it was removed completely after the "design reset" bug kept happening instead of proper scaling.

Jason, I have spoken to Jack, who tells me that the rules for scaling have not changed.

So, if you leave a league after the end of a season & before the new season starts, & you join a league that has finished it's season without starting their new season, you will not experience scaling. In all other circumstances scaling will apply.

I had no design scaling when I left a league after completing its first race of a season and joined a league after its first race had been finished, is that the system working properly or not working at all?

It is my understanding, that the system felt you did not need to scaled Arthur

Well if that's the case the system definitely needs to be addressed for bugs.

I rotated Eton through 3 different leagues in 2 weeks with a 100% car - The third league being mid season and the highest person had 65%, and I experienced no scaling in any of them.

I also joined you guys in BRL with Ponos mid season and had no scaling either?

I will ask Jack to comment.

The way it works is if you're joining a league that is further in to the season than the one you have just left, then there won't be any scaling. If you're leaving a league 10 races in to a season and joining one 5 races in to a season then the design scale will be halved. But if you leave a league after 5 races to join a league that is on race 10 there will be no scaling.

Thank you for clarifying that Jack

That confuses me more in that case?

I left the second league before Turkey (race 7) and joined the third league just before Spain (race 5). So shouldn't I have taken some scaling atleast? I definitely took none.

But we're on a new season now any way so it's irrelevant. Maybe because they were so close (race 5 & 7) it didn't scale idk.
