In the strategy tab my drivers always suggest a 2 pit stop race, but all my tyres show they last for equal amount of laps, so for my next race, my drivers suggest 2 stops, but each grade of tyre says its good for 6 laps, and it is a 26 lap race why is this so?

Surely each tyre should have a different value for lap duration,?

You probably reading the fuel consumption instead of the tyre % wear.

I'm not sure...on my strategy tab, i can pick which ever compound i want, underneath that it says laps...and no matter which compound i pick, the number below does not change, and below that in a greenish box shows how many laps it thinks i can do....

Tyre     SS      S      M      H     SS
 Laps     5        5      5       5      5

This shows i can do 25 out of 26 laps in the box below on my strategy screen

I hope this clarifies what my problem is

Ok.... what the driver suggests and you are able to do can and in most cases be 2 different ball games.

Based on your test laps results(tire ware), you need to choose the best suitable compound for the next race. I suggest downloading the "Tire Calculator" from the google's play store to help you out.

The screen you're talking about is used for your stint strategy. Use the "+" to increase the lap count you want to do in each stint. As you do this it automatically calculates the fuel it will take to go that far.

Grey box:  the # on the left represents the # of laps you've allocated in your stints, the # on the right represents how many laps you require for the upcoming race.

You need to click on one of the stint box then add a lap to match the laps needed for the race.  That will make it 26 of 26.

You need to change the number of laps for every stint.... At the momento you are doing 5 laps with every tyre lol
