Just wondering if people think it would benefit the game if you could buy staff from other managers.

You'd pay the manager a certain fee (one that you could negotiate) before he would release his driver/staff member.

Managers could advertise their staff on a special part of the staff buying page and put starting prices.

VERY IMPORTENT: You couldn't just steal someone's staff, you would have to negotiate and get the managers permission.

What does everyone think?

That people will create multiple accounts and spend loads of money buying staff from their main team, exploiting the system and levelling up quickly. That's why I didn't add it.

Wouldn't the idea behind it be that you have to atleast be the same level Jack? Like it currently is?

If the implication was that we should be able to buy level 13 drivers when we are level 8, then ofcourse that's a silly idea. I'm pretty sure that's not what he was meaning though.

Even with that limitation, if you set up 3-4 new teams (all the same level) you could funnel all their money in to one account. Even if we put in a "minimum level" limit on the feature, lots of people run two teams and could use one as a source of income for the other, giving their team an unfair advantage.

no, dont think so.

if a team staff member signs with new team, they must have to wait till end of season before doing anything with that new team. like F1.

This is a good compremize for the possibility of an exploit.

The exploit is all about getting the money, not the staff. You would be shipping out crappy staff intentionally for way above their asking price, race after race, to ensure you funnel a lot of money in to the "A team". So postponing having the staff wouldn't discourage people from exploiting it.

But if you were asking too much for crappy staff, surely no-one would pay for them?

Thats his point.. If you had two accounts, you could offer yourself absurd amounts

Obviously there will be a cash cap.
