Maxed out not level 20

Hi guys,

my driver is maxed out with every category but still not Level 20(even experience and talent). Is age an issue? Or will he stay like that? There are other drivers who reach Level 20? Is there a difference in Performance if I drvier doesn't reach Level 20?

My drivers are maxed out too but they aren't Level 20. So that's 'normal' (but I don't know why. Maybe the age). 
But that's no problem because it doesn't matter which level a driver is. It just matters what attributes he has.

There has lots of reasons mentioned.

For one thing your seeing a rounded number. So when you see fast corners 20 it might actually only be 19.5 for example.

Jack has run a fix a few times to round up drivers to lvl 20, but most people just ignore it now. It allows slightly lower teams access to drivers that might otherwise be out of reach.

Hmmm, But if it is so, 19.5 would be a big disadvantage because you can't train that anymore. In the top levels 0.5 could matter at the end

You could argue that's what introduces a lvl of unknown. But all honesty, I don't think it makes much difference
