What did you try to do?
Change my race setup and saved it.

What happened instead?
Settings change to something completely different when I leave and go back to that screen, causing my drivers to have gone from saying everything was ideal to saying the ride height and wing levels are far too “low”, even though they are now being forced to be set way higher than I ever have used before for ANY track! It’s forcing one to be in the 30s and the other to be in the high 20s, despite me doing my practice setups/5 runs last night and saving. 4hrs til race and both my cars are WAY off

Did the problem happen while using wi-fi, mobile data, or both?
Both

Did the bug happen in the app, on PC, or both?
App

What is the model of your device?
iPhone 7s

What is the operating system?
iOS

What is the version number of the operating system?
iOS 12.1.2

Can the bug be reproduced?
Yes, I keep changing my setup settings back to what I had and saving and when I leave the setup screen and then go back to it, the setup values are completely changed again, to WAY different than I had, with my drivers both saying the stuff is too low, despite the values now being in the 30s and 20s (when originally their ideal setups values where in the mid-low teens when I practiced and setup the cars last night).

Additional comments:
Everything has always worked fine, but now the first race of my season is in 4.5hrs and my setups have randomly changed to unuseable values & changing them back does nothing as the changes don’t save!

Hallo Jason, I'm sorry you had those problems with the game and also for having to ask for some additional information to evaluate your report.
-Have you bought or won an ideal setup for your drivers?
-Was it raining at the time you had those issues?

The reason I'm asking is for one that after buying an ideal setup it'll always overrides any manual changes because as it's the ideal one it makes little sense to want to change it and thus it makes sure you get what you paid for and prevents accidental changes and also because it adapts in real time according to the weather. Which brings me to the second question because for rain the setup values are (usually) the dry setup values for the track +12 (rarely +18 if it's real weather snow at the track and +25 for really heavy rain, haven't seen that one for months, though).

If the weather did change towards rain it also explains the drivers comments as they always comment the last used training lap setup but take the current weather into account, so the setup you used for a dry lap some time ago in training would usually and naturally be far too low (as mentioned above by 12 usually) for current rainy conditions.

I have the same issue that I logged - My bug report

I don't use the ideal setup button and the last race was bone dry - Spain

Apologies for the delayed reply!

I did not buy any ideal setups, but that explaination makes total sense, and that’s a good system to prevent wasting coins!

I DO think the weather changed though. I did setup/practice in dry sunny weather and then just before the race it was raining and the track had like 3.8 or 3.9mm of water if I remember correctly...
