I have a question about advanced strategies and stints.
Let say I set inters when rain reaches 1mm. Why so low?
GP just started, we did 4 laps and I have another 10 to make for my first stint. First and foremost, I would never use IM's first when it rains. You'll be better off leaving your current compound till track wetness is approaching the 3mm(2.5+) threshold. Otherwise you'll have to waste another stint to change to wets.
But on lap 5, rain goes over 1mm,so automatic pit stop triggers. Why would it trigger a pit stop? Did you set it up that way? W's effectiveness are at their best when the water on the track reaches at least 3mm. When you're live on the race you can cancel pit! That's why you're at the race, to manage!
Does it only change tyres and the car will pit stop on lap 14 or does it start the second stint and refuel the car? Well, since you already used your 1st stint on IM's, it then jumps to the 2nd stint.
I never witnessed it live, since it got quite dry lately, so I don't know how it works.
