Race Display Problems

The race screen is dark impossible to see the cars
Please can help screen turned black

I have same problem on laptop. On mobiles game is ok. I make a note on bugs...

Hi Urminnes and Tuomas, please clear the cache on your web browsers and try again by spectating a race the same racetrack you were racing at. If spectating a race works normally, please wait for your next quick race or league race to confirm if the problem is fixed.

I finished all the procedure and the screen remained black I use updated 64 bit chrome browser
This problem started yesterday

If spectating a race did not work, try using Chrome in Incognito mode.
Please make sure all extensions are disabled in Incognito mode, as this will help isolate any unknown variables.

It was okey earlier. Problem started yesterday. Earlier i can use laptop (chrome) normally without incognito mode...
I also do everything i can and doesnt work. I try later again....

EDIT AGAIN: Now its not working, screen is dark !!! and nothing is changed...same laptop....

In my case I uninstalled the antivirus from my PC
And today I can follow the race

Can you check if the problem happens in Firefox?

I allready change to opera and it works...i think there is some problem with chrome

Black screen on Usual chrome browser, windows 7.
cleared cache, still broke.







EDIT = spectate Belgium black screen...

But spectate singapore works ok
China ok also.

Belgium ok on firefox

check others some other time

Livery editor is black screen on chrome also.

Just interested to know what type of graphics card you have on your computer/laptop. I have been having same issue on chrome over the last few days and the only resolution in have found is to uninstall my graphics card.


I would like to know if you done the same, and then try to spectate a race that showed up black, would it you then be able to see it without an issue?

Now its working normally again. I have nvidia 600series in my laptop. I used Opera browser couple days....

Germany GP today, using chrome, race running normal in dry then halfway through it started raining and immediately the track went black like the picture from  few posts above, i managed to open up firefox an re-open the race there to get the track back whilst managing pit stops on black screen browser, i had a couple of races earlier in season where it was blank from the start but been ok for few races then weird the way it worked in dry then instant black out of everything bar the push controls & leaderboard.

Quick  update on the Black Screen Issue. I can confirm its an issues with the Current Issues of Chrome  76.0.3809.100 which was released on 15-08-19, I have uninstalled this version of Chrome and installed the previous version 75.0.3770.80 released on 05-06-19 and to date i can view all races without issue. It is a random issue as its not always the same track. It might be a conflict  between chrome and the graphics card, but we will never be sure of this.
