Do you pay to progress quicker, or play the game on own skills, it doesn't matter, i personally do not pay for any game, i like the challenge of building up my rep/team/power ( depending on game) as i feel any accomplishments i make are earnt, but i understand people do pay, to help better their profiles/stats, which helps make the game free for those who do not pay.

I believe with iGP, the most paying real money gets you is just things like upgrading HQ quicker or more tokens and cash to buy more staff when you want to, speeding up the progress of getting your team built up. However, being competitive still requires quite a bit of effort and ability on the player's part, with aspects such as managing car design, and race management from setup and strategy to your live race decisions. Also, you still have to level up with time and unlike quite a number of management games, there's nothing extra you can buy to instantly boost your race performance like "+20 boost", "+20 acceleration" packs or something silly of that nature that actually are in other online management games.
Personally I've only given money to iGP this year in spite of playing it since 2016, in support of the game more than anything as I already have 3 developed teams at lvl 19 now. But I believe no matter how much you've paid for iGP, you can be proud of any accomplishments you have on this game, as things like the live race management are equal for all especially once everyone has developed teams racing in the same tier.

Unfortunately I can't vote because your poll is missing an option... Pay to support the game.
Like Nik I pay a small amount every now and then, not to make my cars any faster but to help ensure the survival of a game that I have enjoyed playing since early 2015.
It is one of the very few games where throwing a lot of cash at it doesn't really help, especially when your team gets to the higher levels.

Yeah same here, I pay to support the game. I mostly use tokens to upgrade my HQ buildings faster. But I buy extra engines to run some quick races and such. I use it for perfect setup (sometimes) and I buy money to compensate a negative cash flow due to holding extra drivers and staff. I also enter auctions for drivers and staff which I don't really need just because I like to win auctions lol :D
