Could a more experienced league manager answer a question for me.
I run a league designed for new players, as a pretty new player myself ( level 6) i am curious about the new season.
So far the league has been fairly close, 2 teams which have been it it from day 1 are within a few points, currently i have constructors and my nearest rival has the drivers championship.
We have 2 races left in the season, when the season resets car points have a bit of a reset too.
My question is, a player who is not new and level 11 has joined, completed 1 race and dominated it.
Im fine with that but i want to promote close racing and when the season resets and the cars do as well is he being 5 -6 levels higher going to give him a huge advantage next season, or will his car reset to about our levels on development points.
Thanks.

If u have a 4.5 star cd then you should start off the same as him. But he is a lot higher level so he will pull away from everyone easy

By the look of things, the only way Hugo Lopes isn't joining David, Stacey, and you in pro next season is if Jake Martin manages to score at least 47 points in the final 2 races (since it seems somewhat unlikely for Hugo to not 1-2 the remaining races unless he doesn't set up for one of them).

Thanks guys,
That pretty much sums up my thinking, its likely someone joining to get some easy wins.
If it all resets close next season still then its time some noobs show him up.
David finished 3 seconds behind him somehow last race with a T20.
Hope my 2 T20s next season can stick to him as well.
Looking at his last race our strategys would have been better in same car, so next season if its all close and we all still plan better, Im sure we can show him up.
Thanks again.

T20 drivers would be a huge factor on performance, so that should help to close the level gap a fair bit. It could be a different story if the lvl11 manager has T20s too. If he does already and is running close to you guy still, that's a promising sign in terms of competition.
Higher level teams usually mean more developed HQs as their HQ level cap would be higher. So that could mean the lvl11 would gain more design points from his Design facility per race, and have more powerful Boost and DRS from his Technology facility, but it still depends on how much they developed those facilities compared to you all.
Apart from the difference in manager levels, HQ development, and driver talent, you still have strategy and live race management to make a difference.
All the best with the league.

Next race problem solved. He didnt change an engine i guess and he got destroyed, finishing 9th and 10th.
Also on wrong strategy again, he looked to be way over fueling. So all is good to see Jakey promoted and more close racing now he has propercaught the front of the field up.
Happy days
