Connection issues

What did you try to do?
Attend a race as normal

keeps stopping, lagging, many teams are facing the same situation for a couple of weeks

I have a Mac and an iPhone, others are using Android as well as PCs I think

Keeps happening, even after reloading or using a different browser

Last night was crazy, the amount of teams dropping in and out of the race.

I was lucky, but I have experienced it also on Android where the whole race viewer would hang, then reconnect itself. Sometimes I have the race open in a browser and it wouldnt happen there. Also, chrome has become almost unusable recently. Forced to use Mozilla.

Any update or comment on this one?

Still see lots of freezing and users leaving and rejoining races automatcially for the same reason. This seems to be across both mobile platforms at least. I havent had it happen where it freezes much on my PC browser (although I can say that it seems that the chrome memory usage seems to have increase significantly lately when trying to watch live races).

I there any update on this??

This problem is not only in our league, but affects other leagues too as I experienced. 

Some teams are unable to log back on after being disconnected, affecting the race outcome.

Guys, really, no update???

In the most recent race I stopped counting at lap 21 by which time there had been at least 20 disconnects and reconnects for various managers.

Mine waited right till the last lap to do it just as I was about to KERS. Fortunately I had my laptop open at the same time. 

38 days and this issue has not even been acknowledged???

Hi Jamie, sorry this hasn't been answered yet.

I will escalate this the developers to see if they can investigate this and if there's any news available as to why your league is having this issue.

We are aware that some races are having bad lag, as of yet we have not seen any conclusive reason as to why it is happening. 

However we are very aware it is one of the biggest issues right now and we are working a lot in the background to gather more information about possible causes. 

Unfortunately it isn't a quick fix issue, please remember we are only a small 3 man team when it comes to the mobile application and backend simulations and we don't have the budget or team size some AAA titles have like Call of duty where they can turn around the problem in hours. 

I promise you we are working on the issue. There is going to be an app release soon, that will allow us to get more information about the problem. It will not however solve the issue just yet.

We appreciate all the hard work that goes into all this and happy to wait for a fix. I suppose it was just he lack of acknowledgement really.

BRL are on end of season break, and it just happens to be in line with the other league I race in too, so unfortunately cant say.

Just to let you know that since the season restarted the issues have continued unfortunately. It only effect me 3 times, but all 3 times my entire game seemed to hang, I couldnt even exit the viewer, I had to kill the game off and re-enter.

There was a number of other drivers that seemed to be constant reconnecting also.

Is there any update on fixing this? We are still suffering from the connection issues, it happens on both on mobile and desktop (I'm using a Mac), both on wifi and data. Most days at least 2 players seem to be affected. 

I have the same problem too.
Using Opera and Chrome as an operating system is very slow.
With the phone I can follow well, but with the PC it is more beautiful.
