We've all been racing and a car we have just lapped has used Kers to get DRS and re pass us. My suggestion would be that lapped cars cannot get DRS from cars that have lapped them. I understand this is probably controversial but it would kind of work like the blue flag system in real f1. Most cars that are lapped are from teams not online anyway so it wouldn't handicap them that much...

I don`t see the issue here.
If you`ve already lapped them and they pass you, you can then pass them again preferably w/o boost.
Or better yet, let them pass you just before drs and use them as a slingshot.
Imo, I think they pose more pros than cons.

If it's a highly developed car it can take another lap stuck behind them to overtake unless you use boost. It's a massive disadvantage and you lose more time than you gain in the DRS zone re-passing them. To my mind it serves no advantage to the people at the front of the race. I've been in a few where it has ruined the battle for the lead. This is why the blue flag system is used in f1...

If you're going to use f1 as a reference then you'll know that it doesn't distinguish between lead cars and lapped cars when it comes to DRS.

Yeah I know, I meant it would have the same effect as blue flags, making back markers easier to pass. Obviously we can't have blue flags in the game
