Host Tools

Are you a host? Here you can suggest the tools that could be useful.

For example: I've seen many leagues with rules on tires. Minimun 2 compounds, one mandatory stint on one specific compound and others...  

but, how do you rule them? do you just kick the guy who make a mistake? i'd prefer to penalize him somehow...

new suggested TOOL: Some way to apply a penalty in the standing. 
Some way we can decide: ThatTeam gets -2points. Or ThatDriver gets -2points. 

new suggested TOOL: Some way to apply a grid position penalty. 

new suggested TOOL: Direct demotion, to demote a manager.

A way to ban an account from joining a league.

A way to pick what tracks you want on the calendar

A way to post more than 1 league mail per day

A way to have a clickable link to your league thread from the league page or at least a way to have clickable links

I'm not for or against any of Dan's suggestions apart from the last one (automatic mail) which I would definitely want to be added to the game.

I think Jack sayd host will be able to edit the schedule after some new tracks are released.  

Do you have any extra rule on your league? about tires or pits or anything?

We have some rules, none about tires or pits but still some rules that would be nice to be able to police.

We have a 2 tyre rule on 50% races.
I’m not the host but as I do the F2 mini league that we run alongside the main league, I go through all the points scorers and check if the rules were followed. Tbh it’s a great league and we very rarely have any problems but if someone breaks the rule, they have +20secs added (races are 50% length). If it continues to happen and a private message or 2 plus a ridiculing on the chat doesn’t work, the host will kick them.
After 8-9 seasons, only one team has been kicked and 2 have left of their own accord

but, how do you add thos +20secs? that F2 runs on a excel adding results from that alonsider league? 

you go through the points scorers but i believe that's not enough. when no points, positions counts for relegation when no points ;)

penalty: in my league we agreed to force the team to make his first stint on H in the next race. ;) then kick him is it happens again.

i trust my managers but... a preset proper penalty would be nice on any case ;)

Sorry should’ve said the +20 secs only counts towards the F1 or F2 side games. As for the real points, we hardly look at them! It very rarely happens thankfully so hasn’t affected Championships or anything yet, so yes an option to add a penalty to the actual points would be great. I like the idea of starting on Hards on the next race, suitable punishment imo 

The problem I have with this is, knowing some of the players, it would discourage them to play and leave, losing valuable members . And giving a host the power to penalise and charge points while he himself is racing, runs the risk of a host being unfair and abusing this system for his own benefit

clear rules applied with penalties applied by host using his tools would be a step forward from what we have now. Then would be nice to be able to set it up before the season starts and forget about them ;)

Generally speaking being able to penalise someone if rules are not obeyed would be appreciated. This is probably most often the case for leagues who run a two compund rule, where it would be nice to DSQ non-compliant managers, rather than imposing a penalty for the next race. This way everyone gets the points they deserve at the moment they deserve them and they are not taken away by someone else. And the non-compliant manager will have no benefit from it neither since his points scored can be annulled.
I don't know of any other racing reasons where there would be a need for a penalty, considering how the game works atm.

If more tracks are added the option to decide which tracks will be raced on would also be great. But the devs said that they plan on making that possibly in the future anyways.

We are penalizing doing the 1st stint on H in the next race. It's something but, still not good. It's not a problem for the guys that need 1 result to stay in Elite. (guys fighting for 1 point or a good position).

Just saying. That doesn't compare with the lost of points. It is a grid position penalty, on H you should be far away from pole, but i know is not the same.
